Real estate has its own language! You may come across these terms in passing - on a TV show, in a Facebook post or perhaps from a friend or family member who is currently buying or selling a home; but once you begin the process of looking to buy or sell a home of your own, you will likely find yourself bombarded with terms that are simply not a part of regular, mainstream conversation. Its easy to get confused or overwhelmed!

This guide is an attempt to remove some of the mystery and provide clarity. We originally created these definition cards to post on social media in our "word of the week wednesdays" series, but decided to make them available here as well. We will work to keep this resource updated and relevant.
